Meet The Staff

Margie Kline, LM, CPM

Margie Kline, LM, CPM began her work with women and babies in 1985, serving as a doula, birth & breastfeeding rights advocate, and midwife in New Mexico until relocating to Arizona in 2005. She began her formal midwifery education at Aviva Midwifery Institute in 2009, interning for several months in a high volume birth center in El Paso, Texas, and a busy missionary birthing home in Tay Tay, Rizal, Philippines. She gained additional clinical experience working with a homebirth midwifery practice and a birth center in Phoenix. In 2013 she received her national certification from the North American Registry of Midwives and her Arizona state licensure. She is a member of the Arizona Association of Midwives. Over the course of her career she has observed, assisted or served as primary midwife at more than 700 births.

Margie is the youngest of six children, the mother of 7 children and grandmother to 7. When she’s not attending new parents and babies, Margie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and listening to music.

Tracy McMaster, CBC, CPST

Office Manager and Birth Assistant, NRP Certified

In 2007, Tracy found her passion for birth and babies when preparing to bring her first child onto this earth. Since 2019, she has been encompassing the world of motherhood, babies, birth and early childhood development by supporting families as a Community Health Worker.  Tracy has been trained in Childbirth Education, Newborn Observation, Perinatal Mood Disorders, received DONA doula training, is a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician and a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Her love of home births was fueled when she attended her first home birth of a dear friend in 2010 and she continues to grow this love while working with her amazing team at Womancare.

Tracy is a native to Arizona, growing up in Phoenix and moving to Flagstaff in 2000 to attend NAU. The beauty and abundant nature kept her here, where she settled down to start a family. She is married and has 3 beautiful children. Tracy is an avid soccer player and is active in the community, volunteering as a summer soccer coach for AYSO since 2012. She loves to spend time with her family and friends, hiking, camping, listening to music, dancing, paddleboarding, kayaking, yoga, playing games and anything natural, holistic and good for the soul. She is excited to be a part of families welcoming the most amazing love they can imagine into this world.

Krystal Harris, CBD, CPD, CBEd

Team Manager, Birth Assistant, and NRP Certified

Krystal Harris has been a passionate birth professional since 2014 and has a lot of experience both nationally and internationally. Krystal was an OB assistant for a Dr in Egypt, where she lived and worked for nearly 10 years. She is currently certified as a Labor, Birth, and Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator through Childbirth International and has been a home birth midwife assistant since 2020 with Margie. Her goal is to help empower families by providing physical and emotional support, childbirth education and planning, and tools to have easier labors and births including helping babies to have optimal positioning.

Krystal loves going on adventures with her husband of 19 years and teenage children age 16 and 17.

Hannah Finney

Student midwife, birth assistant, and NRP certified

Hannah has been wanting to be a midwife since she was 11 years old and grew up knowing she had to be a part of the birth world. The moment she graduated high school she started shadowing Margie in the awesome world of birth. She has been working with Margie as a birth assistant for over a year now and is a student in the process of being certified herself. She loves the outdoors, soccer, and enjoys baking and wedding cake decorating. Hannah’s goal is to encourage women in their pregnancy and birth experience and show the next generation how empowering a natural pregnancy and birth can be.

Amy Scott, CLC, CPST

Twenty years after Amy's own first midwife and husband assisted birth, her heart still comes alive like no other time than during childbirth.  Watching fathers bond with their babies, mothers thrive with support, and babies be welcomed into a world of love has been transformational in Amy's life.  As a birth assistant her passion is to support from the background, always celebrating the strength of each unique family.

Amy completed her Bachelors in Public Health after pouring her heart into her first passion of raising her three babies. Overcoming years of debilitating post postpartum depression confirms to Amy the value of supporting families in this all important experience of birth. Living half way around the world with young children provided a depth of understanding and compassion for the need of community support for families.  Working as a Community Health Worker providing maternal and infant education in Flagstaff provided invaluable insight into birth, lactation and health of families. Amy brings the values of cultural understanding, emotional support and holistic care to each interaction with families.

Amy is a Flag native enjoys the outdoors with her husband/best friend.  She loves this season of parenting teenage and adult children like none other.  She is so grateful to work with a team of passionate, compassionate and competent women who support birthing families in Flagstaff.

Tiffany Burkart, RN, BSN

Tiffany Burkart is a registered nurse in the beautiful crisp mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona. Her passions are spending time with her four boys and amazing husband. She also enjoys playing softball, volleyball, snowboarding, hunting, camping, and being outdoors!

 

She received her RN degree from Coconino Community College and her BSN degree from Northern Arizona University. She has been in healthcare for 3 years working on a Medical-Surgical unit and also assisting with in-home births alongside Margie Kline since October of 2020. She loves helping mothers birth at home while supporting their needs holistically. Tiffany also specializes in IV hydration therapy, B12 and vitamin D injections and offers this service to all of our Womancare Birth and Breastfeeding clients as well as their families.

Joycelyn “Joy” Chan, RN

Joycelyn “Joy” has been working on Margie’s team since the summer of 2021. Joy is a full-time Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nurse at Flagstaff Medical Center and a mobile IV hydration specialist for our flagstaff community. She is one of the many registered nurses on our wonderful team and brings love & patience to every birth she attends. She is certified in neonatal resuscitation, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.

Missy Ayrey, RN

Birth Assistant, NRP Certified

Missy Ayrey has been assisting in labors for a little over 20 years! She was a doula first on her own, then an assistant at the Flagstaff Birth and Women’s Center, and now an RN for Margie!

 

She loves being part of all the little miracles coming into the world and is very honored to be included in such a special time for our moms. Here’s to many more special blessings!

Adrianna Rentschler

Administrative and Birth Assistant, Nursing Student, NRP Certified 

Adrianna is a nursing student at Northern Arizona University and hopes to do cross-cultural medical work after graduation. She is passionate about home birth, adoption, and helping people.

 

When she's not studying, working for Margie in the office, or attending births, Adrianna enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, gardening, and baking.

Abigail Stetson, CNA

Abigail Stetson was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona. She recently graduated from Coconino Community College with an associates in Pre-Health Careers and is currently applying to nursing schools. She is a licensed nursing assistant and has a particular interest in midwifery, queer family planning and reproductive justice.

 

Abigail has aspired to work with women and birthing people since she was a teenager. She also works for her family’s business buying/selling antiques, collectibles and vintage clothing. The light of her life is a three legged bulldog mix named Toby. When she is not working, Abigail enjoys watching movies with her partner and family, cooking, roller skating, learning about pathology and entomology.

Erin Victor, ND

Dr. Erin Victoris a primary care physician who focuses on family, women’s, and pediatric medicine as well as fertility and prenatal health. The practice of creating a foundation of health for the family as a whole, with prevention at its core, inspired her to become a physician. Her appreciation of the diversity of people’s lives fostered a passionate desire to help them become the fullest expression of themselves.

After graduating from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, Farra Swan ND oversaw Erin’s obstetric residency for nearly 2 years in Tempe, Arizona, and field training which included assisting rural midwives abroad in Senegal, Africa. Erin also serves as a Board Member and officer of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association.

​

Erin’s philosophy centers on identifying and treating the root cause of a problem rather than just the symptoms, using the body’s innate ability to heal itself when given the tools it needs. This approach often requires in-depth work with nutrition and lifestyle to optimize health. As an expert in prevention and chronic disease, Dr. Victor believes in using customized naturopathic approaches to fit the specific needs of each client.

A native Arizonan, and an outdoor enthusiast, Erin is thrilled to return to the Flagstaff community and is honored to serve at Womancare Birth & Breastfeeding as a consultant and the Flagstaff Clinic of Naturopathic Medicine.
